Marked improvement Carl a much better Saturn image all the way. Are you going to reprocess many old images? If you do, you can easily get caught in that vortex of never being totally happy, no matter how much reprocessing you do!

Carl, you could have just asked and some of us would have told you about levels adjustment and unsharp mask :lol:

Just for the craic I thought I'd run your first image though a noise reduction filter and change the levels to see how it would compare.



Turns out that you reprocessed image does have a bit more detail in the bands afterall :D
