My C8N didn't come with any adapter, but it's not a GT model

Maybe it was the older model's came with the piggyback adapter. haven't seen it mentionioned on newer models.

Don't bother adjusting your monitor. There is just a hint of blue in the space around the six brightest stars - nebulosity may have been the wrong description here - it is apparent when you blow out the levels and curves on the RAW, but that doesn't make for a very pleasing shot. I have upped the blue channel quite a bit, but most of the blue data is at the far left of the histograms - longer exposures is the only answer.
