Hi Guys
thanks for the comments, the first shot is in the post at the top of the page, the one further down is my second attempt, lol.
I'm pleased with the result compared to the top one
cheers

A far better second attempt there CJ, colour is way better, and more natural. I don't know myself if it is any sharper than the first, but the natural colour balance makes it appear sharper. Hard to tell on such a small object. Still, you seem to have learned pretty quick!

OK Guys, getting a bit obsessed with Saturn now.
This is my third attempt using the SPC900NC and this time my new Meade 3x Barlow. This Barlow is way better than the crappy 2x one that came with the scope.
This image is a bit grainy and maybe not that sharp but its much bigger and better than my previous efforts and for the first time can detect a bit of Cassini Division action
Plus by this point I'd had 4 tins of Stella!!!
cheers

Ah, Stella!
You're getting better each time.
If I were to be really critical, I'd say the focus was a fraction off. Unfortunately, focus is critical in astrophotography. But even as you have it, you could sharpen it a fraction if you have image processing software.
