It's one of the bright stars in Aries, probably alpha (Hamal).

What would the bright object to the right of the moon be?
Regulus?
Saturn? (Saturn is more yellow though)
Venus? (Isnt Venus the morning star right now though?)
Sirius?
Answers on a postcard please....

Didn't think Aries had such bright stars.

Nice work Bart,
I like the reflected moon in the second shot, plenty of detail and even earthshine in the reflection

I like both photo's
The first makes a point (between the posts)
The second probably better on reflection.....sorry could not stop myself
Goes to show that as amazing as some of the brilliant astrophotography gems we see daily on the boards - there is still some amazing images within the grasp of mere mortals
declan
