Great image Steve! Great resolution with that camera.
I'm still playing with my DMK camera but my local seeing has been terrible this week-nothing but blurred images.

Thanks for the encouragement folks.... much appreciated.
The DMK is doing the job alright.... I found that Registax has a problem when I capture over 1G of data with this camera (1024 x 768 px resolution) so I had to limit each capture to 1000 frames at 30FPS. Took in the region of 4 - 7 AVI's (each 1000 Frames in length) this one is as a result of 4 AVI's @ 1000 Frames per AVI, and Registax didnt have a problem with them being loaded at the same time, as long as I re-aligned for the start of each AVI sequence. I then Stacked the best 900.
Dogstar, the images were taken last Tuesday, here in good old Waterford, and... and.... and.... I would love to see the results of your imaging with the 400D complete with your "newly aquired" Italian, 1.52M zoom lens.......
In terms of the Frame, I just created it myself in Photoshop. Expand the canvas by about 5mm - 10mm (according to taste), this leaves a Border around the image. Select this border with the magic wand and keep it selected. Create a new Layer (with the border still selected). Then fill it with a colour of your choice. Then with this new "Frame layer" selected, go to Layer menu > Layer Styles > Bevel and Emboss..... a tweek the settings to get a Frame that you like................... I should use it more, me self....... Any queries just give me a shout, and I will be glad to help out.
Carl: Focusing still is an issue for me.... what set up are you using for focusing, and does it make a "big" difference?.... I am still in "manual mode", ... hands with gloves on, causing alot of shake when I go near the Focusing Wheel.
Thanks again Folks

I noticed that problem with Registax also. It would not open files with more than about 1000 frames even though they would play on real player fine.

Superb image. It looks as if you were in a lunar lander about to touch down on the moons surface.
