Thanks guys, I'm glad you all liked the image.
Paul,
The object at 4 o'clock is a spiral galaxy. Regarding the other object at the bottom that has the two nuclear spots. I'm not sure what it is. Any guesses?

woah! this image, gives a great sense of size for some reason. many galaxies look like nice patterns in the sky, but this looks huge even from an image.
in relation to the core of the galaxy, is it so bright due to millions of stars in close proximity or is this some other wavelength given out by the monstrous black hole in the middle?

I would be tempted to say a double star Eamon, but there appears to be matieral arching through the pair, is it possible that they are a pair of interacting galaxies?

Fintan,

I understand that NGC 4725 is a ringed barred spiral galaxy because a prominent ring of stars encircles a bar of stars at its centre. Hence the extreme brightness at centre. However, using the B filter does bias towards the ultraviolet-blue region enhancing this concentration of stars you mentioned. However, this may be different in the IR, where it might be better delineation of red stars at the centre bar.
It may be interesting to image again but in a different wavelengths in the R and IR..
