As nice as the 450D is, id rather save my money for some new lens's.

seems to be as capable as the 400D though, and better in some respects (live view) :xIt's certainly cheaper than a 450D, but so it should be, it's a less capable camera.
It's the same thing as car ranges - When the VW Golf got bigger, so did the Polo behind it and they then introduced the Lupo for those who didn't want a bigger car.

Live focus is theee selling point for the 450D, give it 12 months and this camera will be going cheap. If you already have a DSLR then you'd be alot better off waiting a small while longer
That's what I am waiting for How many nights have I played around in the freezing cold looking to get a very good focus, only for it to change when the temperature does.
I'll welcome that !

Have you used DSLRFocus V.3 This might solve the focus problem when their is a change in temperature. It can be used on all DSLR cameras.
