Thanks Seanie,
Cyberworld are no place for images like these.
The need to be printed out and put up on a wall so your eye can
appreciate them.

That's what I was thinking. Can you imagine if you had this printed on a roll of paper about 15 feet long, and have it arched as when you walk through it, you're surrounded by it, with tags on the most common objects to be seen? There's an idea for your next Whirpool party! ;)

That is super. Exactly the kind of shots I want to get myself. Some day.

Thanks lads.

How do you rate the tokina 12-24? I'm looking at something wider than my current widest (16mm) for exactly that type of shot.

Paul,
to be honest I have feck all experience in rating lenses.
I just know what works for me and this lens is a great
wide angle lens for the price.
I picked it up in Adorama when I was in the US a few months ago.
Thanks to Mike OC and Richard 'Astrotrac' I've seen the results of the
Canon 'L' lenses and these are for me the next step down the long and
lonely road to bankruptcy.

I am seriously considering mounting the likes of the EXT125 OTA onto the
astrotrac!

BTW Frank,

that would look really cool as the banner heading across the top of your website, (when you get it back!)

Good Idea, Thanks.
I just added it as a banner to the top of the site.
