I'm not sure...
Could be problematic.
Last time I checked Vista could not run the SPC900 software.
I think there is a fix available but you'll have to search the astro fourms / google for details.
K3CCD tools is free.
you just need to enter a free key every month or so.
all the details are on his site.

I had another look at this site as you suggested and from what I can make out it's only Version 1 that this applies to. If you get Version 3 it cost $49.99 (quite good given the exchange rate at the moment)
