Very nice Trevor,
To me it looks a tiny bit dark, maybe have a go and redoing the white balance also.
This might sound abit mad but to me it has a purple tinge to it.
One thing about the moon is that registax does wonders on it.
Next time try getting 50 or so images and try stacking them, the crater rims will pop into view
heres one I did a few years back with practically the same set up as yourself except I used registax.

looking back maybe there is a tiny bit too much unsharp mask in mine, its easy to over do that on moon images.

Thanks for the tips lads.
Dave, Is there a limit to the size of files and type of files you can put through registax
There very well could be a purple fringe to it, although I can see some yellow in the larger version. I think that is the skylux lens.

Trevor,
I've put full res 3kx2x images from the canon through registax, the only thing is that it seriously hogs the machine, you need a fast processor and alot of memory.
I tend to use bmps, jpegs and avis in registax, I haven't tried anything else.
I find that at times if I go above 2500 images in an avi, registax cant open it, I dont know why this happens so I tend to stay below that.
