An Active limb today oct 21st was created by daveg
There was an active solar limb today with many proms. Grabbed this b4 those thunderstorms came in.

What time was that taken? I rotated/flipped my sketch to match the orientation of your photo, and they look quite similar. (Mine was 11:40 local time, 10:40UT.)

Indeed, it does.
I record the time after I'm finished, and there's usually a bit of touch-up at the end, so I guess my sketch actually records what I was looking at from about 11:20 to 11:35.

In both versions the details are very well paralled and it's like looking at a colour and negative image. Wish I could draw.
