Celestron are bringing out the CGEM - a baby brother of the CGE. Basically an improved version of the EQ6 as I understand.

Wonderful images John. As it was said earlier, who gets tired of this pair? ;) Lovely colour correction and detail in both images especially M42 with its relatively low frame count. As you were saying about getting a new mount, now is the time with the pound to euro exchange rate so good. I'm considering an EQ6 also. I have to try and sell a guitar to finance it first!

Thanks for the tip on the CGEM Michael. I'll wait for the reviews and get checking on prices - probably be expensive if it's just new, also I'm not an early adopter I prefer to let someone else iron out the bugs before I invest. Wonder if its as quiet as the EQ6 or as NOISY as the CG5.
