Collaborative Roestte Nebula By Carl & Steve

In my opinion collaborative efforts are amazing pieces of work, to combine the results from two completely different equipment sets is not only difficult its sometimes downright impossible, so its a credit to Steve and Carl that such a fine image has resulted from this particular union. (not in the biblical sense of course

Now for the constructive criticism bit. Hope you don't mind guys, would be easy to say wonderful image (and it is) and then move on but that doesn't serve anyone. My initial thought is it's still monochromatic. How can it be? Look at all that pink! What I mean is instead of greyscale it's pinkscale for want of a better word. NGC 2244 is full of some lovely colorful stars including a really nice reddish member of the main cluster. which is rare enough in images fo this object.

I would suggest that maybe ye pushed it just a little too hard on the levels and not enough on the saturation?

Well done a fine work, but I know you guys can do better!

Oh Wow! That is a great image! The dark fissure / rill towards the lower right is sharp and almost 3-dimensional... must be the parallax due to your separation!!
