Greetings.....

At long last a chance to image Jupiter. My first LRGB image using the DMK camera of this target. Anthony's imapact mark is clearly visible at a time of Approx 3.30 am -Sat 25th July 2009




Taken from Cherrymount, Waterford. Celestron CGE11 inch SCT, DMK Camera. Best 1467 frames of 5000 per Channel.

Seeing that this is my first atempt with the CGE 11 and the DMK, I hope to get some improved Jupiter images as time goes by.

My stab at 01:25 BST on the 25th July 09.

Meade LPI - 269 Fits images at Frame rate of 1.24 per second - total integration time 3:32. I have to go through and take a subset of frames and see if I can get better. Heavily enhanced (Wavelets) to maximise promenance of bruise.

I'm not sure of orientation but I think I target the moons on the other side.
