Excellent photos Frank!
I've been planning a particular image for some time now but getting the exact location of the moonrise to line up with the taget is't always easy as we get so few days with a clear horizon.
Is there an add-on to Google Earth which would show the exact location of moonrise for each day of the year? Would be useful for planning these sort of images.
Michael.
That would be class!
A mix of Google Earth & Starry Night!
It's only a matter of time I hope.
I've a few places in mind for a cool shot.
Just need the weather eh'!

Beautiful shots there Frank, the One of the Moon and the Plane is excellent and very well timed, A question: What exposure/ISO did you use?, I see a reflection just below the cockpit, dont want to sound silly but with a very fast exp, was that from the Sun?
Classy shot either way, deserves to be in a magazine

Hi Ronan,
Ya, the Sun was still above the horizon behind me.
I'm not near the drive with the shooting info on it
but as far as I can remember it was a really fast exposure,
the plane came out quite dark so I used the magic wand took in PS
and did a bit of level adjusting to make it better.
The full frame shot shows very good detail on the plane.
Michael,
thanks a million for that link!!
It looks like a great resource.
