Brendan, only one word to describe those shots. Spectacular!!
Well done.
We have a bit of volcanic ash over Melbourne at the moment so my moon shot was quite red, although it was very dim and barely visible at all.

Great compilation there Brendan, the last good eclipse for many years to come.
A group of us were over in Barcelona for it, it was a very dark eclispe, glad someone over here got to see it.
John, when it was barely visible for you,
was it high above the horison at that stage ?

Dave
It was about 20-30 degrees above the horizon so one would expect some redness. We have had volcanic ash which has closed the airports here at the same time as the eclipse which has probably added to the colour.
Check out this shot taken from Ayers rock (uluru)

I took this image of Noctilucent Clouds over Mountcharles, Co Donegal just as I was packing up after shotting the eclipse. Only getting around to processing it now. A lunar eclipse, ISS passes and noctilucent clouds all in the space of a few hours! A fantastic evening of astronomy.
Details:
Location: Mountcharles, Co. Donegal, Ireland
Date: 15 June 2011
Time: 23:30-00:00
Camera: Self modded Canon 1000D, 18-55mm stock lens set at 35mm
Exposure: 2 X 4sec, ISO 200 F4.5

The two images with the the moon looking like its superimposed onto the sun baffle me.
www.irishastronomy.org/index.php?option=...9775&Itemid=40#89793
It appears to blur the concepts of lunar and solar eclipses together into two frames which are, in my subjective opinion, too artificial and can misinform an uneducated viewer of what happened.
I have been enriched with most (if not all) of your earlier postings but I am uncomfortable with these two representations.
Bearing in mind that you can't please all the people all the time - keep them coming...
