That's a really cool image Keith, well done. The colours are very natural looking, less reds and pinks for example. I don't even really see the egg shape to your stars.

Simon, another great shot, nice clarity and sharpness in it, the filament structure is nice.

Nice shot Keith, its been a while since a M42 has been up, remember a few years back there was always a flurry of them come the start of the winter.
Maybe its my monitor, I would have made the red a little stronger, my 2 cents...

Mike, yes my camera is unmodified, so I hope to improve this next winter
