Jupiter LRGB 5th and 6th of November 2011 was created by carlobeirnes
Hi everyone,

Here is Jupiter from the 5th and 6th of November 2011. The seeing was not to good but we have to make do.

They look a bit soft alright Carl but I'll never get bored looking at them.

Why is one bigger than the other? Can't be the fact that Jupiter is one day closer to us ;)

Did you get to recollimate? Could that be part of the problem? Or do you think it was just rubbish seeing?

They don't look too bad at all Carl.
I see you used Registax.
Have you tried Avistack2 yet?
Personally, I think it gives better sharpening.

After the summer we've had, I'd imagine we'd take any clear night - even with way out rubbish seeing - any day (or night).

If you can get that image scale and detail on a night with good seeing, I'm will really look forward to you posting them. So I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
