Here is Jupiter from the 5th and 6th of November 2011. The seeing was not to good but we have to make do.

Why is one bigger than the other? Can't be the fact that Jupiter is one day closer to us
Did you get to recollimate? Could that be part of the problem? Or do you think it was just rubbish seeing?

I see you used Registax.
Have you tried Avistack2 yet?
Personally, I think it gives better sharpening.

If you can get that image scale and detail on a night with good seeing, I'm will really look forward to you posting them. So I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
