Was this just a stack of the 6 frames? If so then the red may be contributed to by the camera, at least the un-reddend area at the very bottom middle suggests that to me. It might be worth experimenting with bias/dark/flat frames to see if they helps.

Very nice Martin, guiding is really good. I have the same problem of red glow with my nikon d90 after 60 or so seconds of exposure. I know cooling is the ultimate answer but has anybody experience of using light polution filters and are they worth considering?
