John,
If your primary concern is imaging, see if you can a set of filters which are parfocal and also IR-blocking. Parfocal filters mean you will focus only once using one of the filters and the others will automatically be in focus as well. We need IR-blocking filters so that our images will be restricted to the visual portion of the spectrum and we will also save ourselves the ugly pink halos which otherwise characterize bright stars.

Hi John,
My SBIG filters have a blue ring near the inside perimeter of the casing which is used to signal IR-blocking. As for being parfocal, this is a design issue and where company specs come in.
The best way to answer your question would be to examine company specs and/or seek out the observations and experience of other fellow amateurs who may use a brand that interests you.
