Hi,
I was looking at the Canon remotes on Ebay that go for 2.50 Euros and was wondering if anyone else out there had one ?
Are they any good ?
I know it's a cheap item but just wanted some feedback before I buy something useless...
Many thanks.

I picked one up over a year ago for about €5 on e-bay, never given me any trouble. BTW make sure you get one that can be locked on Bulb.

Thanks, looks like the Canon RC-1 may be the best option.

Brian,
I have a spare one Dave Lillis made for me last year. Only for I got a pro release cable with a recent purchase of the pro battery grip would I give it away. If you want it, for free, let me know.
Seanie.

If only I'd checked back here....oh well
Ran up to Conn's Cameras at lunch and picked up an RC-5.
Tested in the shop and it does support the bulb function for more than 30 seconds.
Thanks very much for the offer Seanie but I should be ok with this...
