Hi its called an Optus 70 mm refractor i think.....
i had it out tonight for the first time for about a half hour only the clouds came in. jeezus was the moon bright tonight ,the street light is down in front of my house and i was in my hall walking back to my sitting room and said to my wife they must of fixed the light looked out and it was the moon i ran straight out the back with the telescope, ive had it set up in the middle of the kitchen waiting for the right moment eventually got it lined up took a bit of messing about because i didn't have my finder scope parallel with the main telescope, got that sorted and could hardly look at the moon it was so bright went down to the lowest eyepiece 9 mm and used the moon filter and it was perfect. it looked amazing i wish i could have taken a pic. i think i had some condensation as the edge of the view looked a bit like it had crystals on it but that didn't interfere with the view. what do you call the thing that will allow me to connect my camera to the telescope. i have a Olympus digital SLR :)
