There is a list of dealers. Get them all to quote you and don't be afraid to tell one that another has given a better price then rinse and repeat. Play one against the other. At the end of the day, its all money in your pocket.
Before deciding on your scope have a think about your ambitions. Do you want to just look visually or have you ambitions toward photography through it. If the latter is the case then go for the goto scope now. As Seanie rightly said you will get a bigger aperture dobsonian for the same money. However in the current climate it is becoming very hard to sell second hand so you might be stuck with it when you try to sell on later.
Get the best scope your budget will allow and stretch it some if you can at all.

I would recommend dobsonian as well. Someone just sells cheap 12" on forum.
Also dont forget about accessory: red dot finder, 10x50 binos, UHC filter and most importantly eyepieces. 3x Baader Hyperion should do.
