It looks to be some highly reflective material.

As the wind died down, the dreaded dew had struck!
I had to stop observing at 9.30.
But I did consult Antonin Rukl again and found that the 2 mountain peaks are Mons Pico and Mons Pico Beta. Vallis Alpine is pointing at them alright. The Spitsbergen Mountains were very fine too.
I also noticed the double star 20 Geminorum west of the Moon.
