The comet should rise at roughly 7.20am, in the ever brightening sky....

Well guys, the weather forecast is for clouds tonight with a clearance spreading from the west, according to the forecast it should be clear in the west by 6am, we'll just have to wait and see.

Anybody have any luck with this

It is after getting a little brighter in kerry so maybe I might get to have a look tonight. It sets over an hour after the sun and is now only 12degrees or so from the sun: Anyone know if it should be visible ???

Cheers
Trevor

If the weather is good and you have a clear line of sight then yes!

I cought an unexpected glimpse at this amazing target
driving home from the West coast on Sunday.

The whole sky was cloudy except for a patch in the West
and what cought my eye first was Venus shining brilliantly
(I thought it was airplane headlights for a while)
So I pulled up and at the side of the road to look for McNaught.
I could'nt believe my luck as I had my Binos, Camera & tripod with me.
I quickly set up to try and take a shot but was beaten by the clouds.

Has anyone else
(appart from John) tried photographing it?
Is it possible to use the webcam on this?

There are now a lot of fine photos of this around...
