I keep a tab on the weather using the hourly updated IR satellite image.

Looks like a real bummer for folks in the South West...

Its a very dark eclipse here, there is high level haze here, the dark side is VERY dark :)

oh yeh saw a shooting star aswell just as it started not in the same part of the sky
