It has come to the stage now that all we need are no clouds and an unobstructed horizon to catch this bugger... No luck from me yet.

I'd give about the same odds as winning the lottery in the next 2 weeks and flying to Australia Seanie. :? :wink:

Hope you bought your ticket Dave, cause I've just spotted Comet LONEOS in 10 x 50's from north Dublin! Very difficult observation right now, give it a few days as it rapidly brightens.

Yep, seen here in my 15 x 70s and also photographed - one shot has LONEOS and M3 in the same 135mm field.

I would really like to see this but only have 15 x 70s, I live in the middle of know where so light pollution is not a problem.
