Great shot, Deirdre, of the partial eclipse. It seems that many amateur astronomers in Dublin and Wicklow enjoyed the view. I have just been talking to John Flannery the leader of South Dublin Astronomical Society and he saw it too at Sandymount.

My feelings exactly. I was so busy this morning trying to get a good photo, I almost forgot to open my eyes and see the amazing beauty of the morning sun on the water.

Nice article with some photos on page 3 of this morning's Irish Times.

Murphy's Law struck again this morning - any one else notice that there was NO cloud in the skies? Talk about the perfect sunrise, 24 hours after it was really needed!

Did anyone see page 2/3 of the Irish Times and Irish Indo today. Nice whip around the country with Dave Lillis, Seanie and even David Moore all one the one spread sheet for a change. ;) Ronan Newman
