Weather not looking good at all, all clouded out here. Just had an interview live on Midlands 103 about it and so far no listeners have said they have any clear horizons at all... :(

Typical weather, I was listening to the radio when I noticed a tiny sliver of clear sky right on the south eastern horison at 9am, and lads, there is was for about 15 seconds, the sun with a nice chunk missing out of it, ran for the camera but when I came back to it the clouds had just covered it, :pinch:
I only noticed it at all as the eastern sky went very red all of a sudden, went upstairs in my house and glimpsed the gap.
oh well, atleast I got a look at it. :bigshock:

After a foggy start, got a good view from Monkstown, Cork over the water in Cork Harbour before the clouds closed in.

Finally got some use out of my Baader solar film bought in 1999. It's almost made up for that wet day I spent in Baltimore.

Cloudy here in Kerry too but did catch a glimpse occasionally through gaps in the clouds. See the Kerry website

Glen, that is a lovely image with the reflections on the water.

Great stuff there Lads, you should send them into RTE, they were all over this eclispe on the radio this morning, I'd bet they'd be interested in these images for the 6 news.

Funny you should say that Dave, as I got a call from RTE this morning about speaking about it on the radio and asking about the sky conditions here in Kerry, however at that time I had cloud cover up to 10 degrees over the SE horizon.
