Wow, if only everything I said caused as much impact
The spread sheet is 17Kb.
As a DBA I can only sympathise with the anti MS slant here, it causes me a lot of problems in my work life as well.
On the data front as open office and most other commercial spread sheets can read .xls I don’t really see the problem. However if the webmaster says no we have to live with this restriction.
I will ask Dave Grennan if he will host it, is it permissible to post a link?
Thanks,
Jed
PS Sorry for causing a fire storm
Link to what ever you like!
Also, perhaps it would be a good idea to upload it as PDF and then put a link to the xls file in the description of the link. That way everyone can at least read the file and those who want to get the xls can too.

I'll grab it and put up the pdf anyway.

Bart, you are the webmaster, but I do think you're making a mistake not allowing these formats, since alot of people (not everyone) use them.
Like Michael said, I always seem to have grief with pdf files, takes ages to open etc, I never find them as readable as a word file.
Anyway, its not a serious astronomical issue, so we'll just have to get by.
Not only am I ducking, I'm turning off the computer aswell
