Conor, valid thought about the Harp. Shamrock is known worldwide as a symbol of Ireland too... As is a celtic cross, but I don't think that much detail would work in a logo, would it?

It's a good idea but we have to be carefull we don't end up branding our selves too similarly to Astronomy Ireland. People may start to mix up the two organisations if we do.

Scrap that, I just had a look at their website and they don't seem to use their old logo with the Newgrange art anymore. How odd .... it was a very cool logo!
