Over the last week or two I'm getting several. sometimes four or five emails per topic. It looks as if it's a case of people getting impatient and clicking submit several times. I've found that over the last while it can take up to two minutes for a post to happen and to be returned to the topic. FWIW this only seems to happen with new topics, not replies
Yea, it's with new topics that the problems are and it's a performance problem on the server. The multiple new topic notifications are people hitting submit a few times because they think (most understandably) that someting must have gone wrong if it takes so long.

Seems IFAS is becoming a victim of it's own success!

That sounds right. I've been deleting duplicate threads more than usual in the past week or so.

We really need to get moved off this server to a permanent home TBH.
I have an idea that might improve things a bit ... will put that into operation when I get the chance.
