Feedback on the new site

Folks - a few comments on the new site:

1. If I subscribe to a thread/forum, it processes the request and then dumps me into my profile page. Odd.

2. The times of posts seem to be 8 hours or so adrift.

3. Text in some of the posts is bleeding into the right hand graduated blue column making it hard to read. That might be my browser (IE 7) but I thought I'd point it out.

4. I seem to have lost my own moniker - I am no longer a red giant, admin or whatever - just a red cross

There are a few other smaller items but they can wait for now.

For the record, it takes a little while to get used to the new site but you guys have done a great job and I for one appreciate it. Well done and thanks for all your hard work.

How do you upload an avatar?

Frank - click on the link in the left hand user menu "My Profile".

You should see two "panes" at the top of the page - hover over the "edit" pane and you should see three choices - one of which is to "update your image" - voila.

Note - if you click on "my profile" to the top of the screen, as opposed to the "my profile" in the left hand menu, you get two different things... Odd.
