This is a bad developement, but what can you do ?

I am highly curious, as I was in a top-secret TAS committee meeting all last evening... anyone want to let the rest of us know what happened? Or just PM me the gorey bits...

OK, this section (the feed back section) was, until this morning, open for anonymous posting, i.e. anyone can post. This was done delibertly WAY back when the site was set up to allow people with less than glowing opinions to express them in a non-intimidating way, hence gettign better feed back and getting a better site. The system had remained like that for the last nearly 2 years with no problems, untill last night that is when some spamming @#$$%$%^ posted links to porn sites here.

Porn also got posted to one other board where the permissions have been accodently left open.

So, as of this morning all boards have been locked down so that this can not happen again.

It's a pitty that we have lost the abilit to get anonymous feed back but it is a good thing that we cannot be spammed in this way again.

my curiosity thought it may have been durogatory remarks against IFAS or A&S etc etc. Glad it was only something stupid (yet offensive and irritating to these boards) as porn links.
