:D I haven't seen the August issue out at all yet! When I was asked to send the stuff in for AN, I didn't think I'd be credited for an article! Its news to me! Cool!

Seanie,

I may have misled you slightly ... the three photos are fully credited to you and you are very prominent in the two of the three photos. I do not recognize the gentlemen in the third photo.

I will go back and check to see to whom the article is credited.

Anthony.

Are you sure the photo wasn't in the "Wanted" section in the back with "Dead or Alive" written underneath!

Priceless!

No offence Seanie.

and of course anthony is too modest to mention that his photos of the moon rising over the temple of posidon got a beautiful 2 page spread on pg 26. well done anthony :D

Thank you for the kind words. I have to admit that AN was very enthusiastic about the photo sequence of the rising moon near the archaelogical grounds and I was more than happy to supply them with the brief text they had requested.

I sincerely hope this is the start of something longterm with AN.

Way to go Anthony! You're getting a lot of great coverage with your photos of late! Well Done! :D

Thanks Seanie. I am very fortunate to be living in a very picturesque country which makes the marriage of astrophotography with the physical landscape a really good combination.

Just yesterday I received the final piece of the puzzle for my CCD imaging train which should mean full steam ahead now with CCD imaging of DSO's and, hopefully, there will be lots more (colourful) gems coming in due course.

Of course, my friends here will be getting the first glimpse of all new work (as usual)!

Anthony, the third photo is of the newly formed Kildare Astronomical Society. The subjects are far more than handsome than the bloke in the top pic

And Anthony, that is truly a wonderful image in print and the article with it is excellent - you write very well. Can't wait to a Parthenon shot if you can manage it.

So, anyone here in Ireland game for getting a shot of the moon and the Pigeon Towers in Dublin Port?

Cheers

I had to be careful how I took that photo Dave, so that I wouldn't make your balding hairline too obvious!
