I love these complements flying back and forth. Keep 'em going guys, especially now that the moon will be polluting our skies and there will be little serious observing or imaging.

Perhap because light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Shane,

The moon is so low along the ecliptic right now that it is nothing but problematic. We cannot do any meaningful observation or imaging of the moon itself and at the same time it is sufficiently bright to kill the observation and imaging of anything else.

Last night I tried pursuing the imaging of M13, the great globular cluster in Hercules, and I was not impressed with the result (thanks to Luna).

PS. I forgot to mention that I had M13 where I wanted it ... at zenith.

Anthony I am delighted to see your beautiful moon shots reproduced so well by AN. They did a much better job on presenting your images than S@N, who split your shot with the gutter of the magazine. On reading how you took the photographs, I have to admire your planing, patience and skill. Also I checked the S@N disc as you enquired and your shot is not on it.
