I am very sorry to hear of the bad weather in Ireland. I honestly wish I could send some of our pristine skies right now over to Ireland for my buddies!
I am about to calibrate the cell phone so that I will be in sync with my five-minute exposures. I will touch base in about 3.5 hrs with some neat photos of the event.
First contact in less than 14 minutes ... later!

Clouded out in Kildare but interestingly you can see the effect of the eclipse on the latest visible weather satellite image:

Got a nice bit of "dimming" here in Wicklow. :roll:
Dave that satellite image was interesting alright and kinda cheered me up in a funny sort of way. I wasn't able to see any of the web casts as those sites seem to be overloaded.
A lot brighter outside now, still completely clouded though.
