Check the link to see a series of images i took from the evening of the 24th - morning 25th documenting the snow here. It was very festive here last night but with short lived clear periods as most of the time i was battered by gale force gusts, heavy sleet and periodic short snow showers..it was really cold so i could only observe with the naked eye. The weather changed to rapidly to set up the scope. Seen 5 tremndous flashes comming from low in the north blue/white in colour that i took to be distant ligtning.

Clear skies!

While I was in 'work' this morning, we had about 2 cm of snow fal at 1am. On the way home just before 3am, there was another little flurry. All of Offaly is pretty festive looking now!

Only 30 (shopping) days till Christmas folks!

:D

Seanie.

P.S. as I look out my window about to hit 'Submit', its snowing lightly again!

I was finishing up looking up at mars last night and a few flakes fell into the dome, so I locked it pretty quick, within 10 minutes, it was heavy enough!.

Had great fun cycling in to work this morning. It' open day on campus and the road markings are all covered so I nearly got run over by a car on the cylce lane and then HE had a go at me!
