:idea: Just think about the carbon emissions from the power plants that generate the electricity for all these lights. We are destroying the icecaps. Think of the penguins! We need to turn off those lights to save the little blighters :!:

I've always thought that some sort of motion sensor would be the job for street lights. Like you say, think of all the power that would be saved.

I was over at my brothers house last night and the street light in front of his house is broken, he said he preferred it.

Whaahey I did !!!! He eventually lowered it so it was not a nuisance as such anymore, and then in September, he got rid of it altogether because he got concerned over the ESB price hike !!!!!!!

RESULT!!!! GOD BLESS ESB PRICE HIKES!!!!! :twisted:
