yea, bulbs blow all the time, or even become disconnected, such as in high winds like we're gonna get tonight.

Well I hope there is a bloody hurricane
and it rips my neigbours security light
right off the wall!
That'd teach him to go off on 2 weeks holidays and leave it on
pointing directly into my abserving spot.
I'm gonna have to have a wee chat with him when he comes back.....

Imagine if you could get small portable black holes that you could point at your neibours lanterns and suck all the light out of them
I suppose they would probably suck up your neibours house first though...................... maby thats not such a bad thing

I think I will try a blanket on a long stick to cover the light near my house the next time I am out.

some scumbags vandalised one of two annoying lights that overlook my back. Luckily the council are also taking their time in fixing the damaged luminaire!!!!!

Maybe try one of these.
I've been using one for a while to block out light, wind, rain, etc. + you don't need to keep taking the scope in every time it buckets down.
www.popoutside.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=63
Alot sturdier than it looks.
A bit cramped when imaging but loads of space otherwise.
They are about 40 quid cheaper on eBay.
