Stephen J. O'Mara is moving over to Astronomy Magazine, thats a very interesting and surprising move, one for the gossip mongers to chew over !!

I tried it - didn't like it. Sorry for the 4 people let go but I won't miss the mag.


I am of the same opinion, would you believe. The few issues I had did not make me feel it was orientated towards the casual/amateur observer. In my opinion, there should have been less adverts and more How To's with diagrams. Still, it is a pity all the same that it is ceasing publication.

I think to appeal to amateurs you have to think and look like one. This magazine was still too much like S&T itself in looks and even appeal.
