Star Trekkin'
By: The Firm
Star Trekkin' across the universe,
On the Starship Enterprise under Captain Kirk.
Star Trekkin' across the universe,
Boldly going forward 'cuz we can't find reverse.
Lt. Uhura, report.
There's Klingons on the starboard bow, starboard bow, starboard bow,
there's Klingons on the starboard bow, starboard bow, Jim.
................... happy now Dave?

I wonder does anyone remember the songs in David Levy's "The Sky: A User's Guide"? Some whimsical ones conjoured up at an astronomy meeting included;
"Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse, bright star in O-ri-on..." (to the tune of "Edelweiss" from "The Sound of Music").
and my favourite ...
"It's a long way to Beta Cygni,
It's a long way to go.
It's a long way to Beta Cygni,
And our warp drive will get us there ..." etc, etc ... ("It's a long way to Tipperary")
Of course there's also the album Albedo 0.39 by Vangelis (with one electronic arrangement called "Pulsar" amongst other astronomically themed ones).

Also Mythodea by Vangelis which was used as music for the 2001 Mars NASA missions. A regular on Classic FM TV.
(Never saw the album released here, I bought a copy in Singapore)
