Replied by John D on topic Avatar trouble
HI,
I am having trouble with my avatar and i was wondering could anyone help me. It is suppossed to be a moving image but it doesn't seem to be working , i done everything that it said on the sticky "How to add an avatar image to your profile" but it still doesn't work.
Every time i log out of this website, the avatar frezzes and the only way i can get it back is if i copy the URL and redo the whole thing.
Can anyone help?

Hi John,
I'm afraid Seanie's right, no sign of your avatar yet.

Does it work with a normal 'non-moving' image?

John,
what is the image location if you're taking it from the web? I'll have a look and see if I can add it to your profile (as an Administrator, not a hacker!).

Seanie,
If you right click where the avatar should be and click on "Properties", you can see the address of the avatar. It's :
www.avatarist.com/avatars/Funny/Broken-Image-Fighters.gif
If you then copy the address to the address bar in your browser, it works.
Don't know why it's not working as an avatar. Guess your gonna have to use some of your moderator super powers to fix it...
