Joe, give Michael O'Connell a PM here, he might be able to help you. He's a member of TAS, and lives near Kilcullen, if thats any close to you. As is another poster here, John O'Neil.
Mike has the bigger BIGGER cousin of the ETX series, the LX(200) - its an 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain and its looks and pricipal of use is almost the same as your ETX70. While there is lots of help available to you on these boards, he might be able to help you in person.
...by the way, I am NOT his propoganda minister or anything!
