I think this quote from the site sums it all up.
In other words stick your head out the window if you want to know what the weather is doing - cause we haven't got a clue that far ahead.
The Met Office described the forecast as a "typical British summer".

Abe Lincoln was fond of telling the following story to attentive audiences.
Seems one of the towns out West was getting fed up of their weather-man's wayward predictions. The townsfolk decided to hold a competition to see who could do better with the winner being declared Mayor.
Anyway, it turned out that a 10 year old boy's forecasts were consistently correct. Just as the town council were about to make him Mayor, the boy confessed that it wasn't him but his mule who was making the predictions. "When the mule scratches his left ear against a fence post rain is on the way and when he scratches his right ear good weather is forecast". The town elected the mule Mayor.
At this point Abe used to say "That was their mistake" and pause for effect.
When someone in the audience asked why, Abe replied "Ever since then jackasses have been seeking public office."

There is still lots to see in the summer Paul!
And at least you might get to wear a t shirt!
As for forecasts,
10 days at best.
after that the odds go bananas.
3 months is impossible.

Something very weird is going on.
Last night was a nice clear sky.
I've just checked Metcheck and it is forecasting 0% cloud cover all week. Either the site is bust or I'm dreaming. -
