It is a modified TUC pro but with a new chip and it is cooled also. BTW I just got the March issue of S&T that has a saturn image in it taken with one of these and a 10 inch MB apo. I have to say that for the equipment used it gives me some confidence to continue with my un modded TUC Pro and my lowly 11 inch SCT.

Thanks for the camera info morpock- I'm still convinced I can make one cheaper though- watch this space! Still doing my homework.
On another note, I got a quick shot at the moon on Saturday night, unfortunately the wind was quite high and I just couldn't keep the scope from vibrating, and by the time I'd put enough weight on the tripod the clouds came swooping in.
On the plus side I think I figured out my over exposure problem, even though the image was shaky it was clearly recognizable as the moon! Exciting stuff...
Was surprised at how narrow the FOV was- could only capture 1/4 of the moon- and that was without a Barlow- is the FOV generally so lousy for everyone? I mean, I have a small scope- on larger scopes I'd doubt you'd fit a single crater in the frame!
Slow progress, but I'm getting there)))))
