Coming Soon - Cosmos 2007, March 9th to 11th.

Hi folks,
well, after the Galway Astrofest wet your appetites for all things astronomical a couple weeks ago, I hope you all still have an appetite for more in March! Ireland's second longest-running star party (and the only Springtime event), Cosmos, takes place over the weekend of March 9th 10th and 11th. As we in Tullamore Astronomical Society like to say, "The Universe Comes to Tullamore!"

So far, the list of speakers includes:

It will take place in the intimate and rural surroundings of Annaharvey Equestrian Farm, 3 miles away from the light pollution of Tullamore on the Portarlington Road. The programme includes:

* Lectures programme from guest speakers on various astronomical topics throughout the 2.5 days
* Observing sessions Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting, of course!)
* Fun Table Quiz (Saturday afternoon)
* Cosmic Dinner (Saturday night, limited numbers FCFS)
* Exhibits, displays, and astro buy & sell
* prize raffles
* informal fun and playing catch-up
* and more.

I just tried clicking on the link to the TAS site but the page wouldn't display. Even when I typed the address in, it didn't work. Any idea's?

I never got the error message. When that happens, it's just a glitch in wuh wuh wuh land. However, the problem from the link in my first post was the full stop (.) in the address was making it invalid!
