Seanie,
I've never been to Cosmos before. Are the talks/events on the Friday itself or on Saturday and Sunday?
Michael.

Hi Michael,
there will be one on Friday evening (usualy by the TAS member), then all of Saturday (10am till the table quiz at 4:30 till 6pm), and then from Sunday morning till the last one around 3pm. On previous years, there has been at least 7 talks, 1+3+3, so expect that this year. Once a working programme is set (based on the speakers' preferences of when to talk), it will be posted here.

I don't know about workshops Ronan, as it has been done already at Whirlpool and Galway - no sense in repeating things. Though Dave Grennan's astrophotography talk will obviously have demonstrations in it, I'm assumnig.
On Saturday, there will be 3 talks - 2 in the morning, 1 after lunch, followed by the popular table quiz.
