IFAS Astronomer Of The Year 2008 was created by michaeloconnell
All,

Another year has come around and it's time to get your vote in for your IFAS Astronomer Of The Year 2008! Previous members include John Flannery, Martin McKenna, Dave McDonald and Deirdre Kelleghan. The award is in recognition of a persons contribution to this forum during 2008. Nominations are open to all members of the website. Each member may only vote once, so make your vote count.

Please send all entries to: ifasastronomeroftheyear@gmail.com

Closing date for entries is December 7th. The Prize? Simple really: The respect of your fellow astronomers and friends on the IFAS boards!

May the best astronomer win!

Regards & Thanks,

Michael O'Connell
IFAS Chair

I think the award should go to David Grennan & Dave Mc Donald for there outstanding achievements this year. And for putting Astronomy back on the map in this country.

We are clearly going for the sympathy vote here.B)
